In June, I took a really relaxing and chill trip to Miami with my girls, Fionna and Lucy. We stayed in Little Havana with Sonder and really enjoyed it (despite a few mishaps here and there). There was an old and colorful bus that made for great photo ops and a pool that we took advantage of for late night swims.
Although Little Havana is a little out of the way from the major attractions in Miami, I really enjoyed the vibe and felt like I was transported to Cuba. We saw the sign for $1.50 Coco Frio on our first day but didn’t stop to get it. We went back on our last day and had a blast with the guy selling it. He was really friendly and took so many pictures for us, and even asked to keep a polaroid because he collects them from tourists.
I’m usually not a fan of coconut and have never tried fresh coconut before, but I’m so glad I got one because it’s so refreshing and good!
The weather wasn’t the best during our stay, but we were able to go to the beach for two days! This trip was the perfect opportunity to experiment with editorial shots. Shout out to Fionna and Lucy for killin’ it.
The highlight of every trip for me is the food. Here are some bomb places we went to: B-Bistro & Bakery, Jamon Iberico Pata Negra Restaurant Tapas & Wine Bar, Bodega, and La Sandwicherie.
There are no plans yet for our next trip, but I can’t wait to travel with these girls again.
